Brianna "Miss Bri" Yanni - Assistant Coach

Brianna Yanni begins her 2nd year as a coach with the Turner School of Throws. "Miss Bri" is a graduate of the University Of St. Francis in Joliet, Illinois, where she was a conference champion, 5 -time national qualifier and 3-time NAIA All-American thrower under the tutelage of Coach Turner. She finished her career with Personal Bests of 17.73m (58'2") in the weight throw, 44.03m ( 144'5") in the discus and 56.12m (184' 1") in the hammer throw. The Rockford, Illinois native was also an NAIA Scholar-Athlete and Graduated from St. Francis with Bachelor and Master Of Social Work degrees.

Joel Degracia- Assistant Coach

Joel Degracia begins his 1st year as an assistant coach with the Turner School Of Throws. Joel is a 2021 graduate of Minooka High School where he threw shot put and discus as a member of the track and field team as well as a Turner School Of Throws Alum (2020=2021). Joel was a USATF Junior Olympic All-American in the Hammer Throw event and finished his High School Career as club record holder in the 12lb and 6k hammer throw. Joel went on to earn an athletic scholarship to Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville where he is currently competing as a member of the Cougars' Men's Track and Field Team and Studying Civil Engineering.
